Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the LegalEase application (the "Service"). Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.

AI-Powered Study Aid

LegalEase is an AI-powered study aid. While it helps you understand legal concepts, always verify information with authoritative sources. The content generated by artificial intelligence is for informational purposes and is not a substitute for professional legal advice.

Indemnity and AI Content

While we make extensive efforts to ensure our tools are useful and trustworthy, you acknowledge that the questions, answers, and other content generated within the Service are created by artificial intelligence. We do not have full control over AI hallucinations, and the AI can make mistakes. The Service is intended to be a study assistant to make learning fun and engaging. You agree not to rely solely on the Service for accuracy and to consult primary, authoritative sources as part of your studies. By using this Service, you agree to indemnify the creators from any issues arising from inaccuracies in the AI-generated content.

Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including but not limited to AI models and payment processors. While we take all reasonably possible steps to safeguard your information, we do not have control over the data practices of these third parties once information is provided to them. Furthermore, we cannot be held liable if these third-party services are unavailable or down due to external factors outside of our direct control.

User Content and Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the documents and content you upload to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you represent and warrant that you have the ownership, rights, or permissions necessary to use it. You agree that your use of the platform will be for lawful and educational purposes only.

The copyright for your User Content, and for any questions or materials generated from it, remains with you. LegalEase claims no copyright or ownership over your User Content. Our copyright is strictly limited to our application's user interface, code, and original content.

User Conduct and Termination

Your use of the Service must remain respectful and lawful at all times. You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to engage in any conduct that is harmful, offensive, or disruptive. If we are informed or become aware that a user is misusing the platform or has uploaded any material that is offensive, harmful, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate, we reserve the right to immediately terminate or suspend that user's access to the platform without notice.

Subscriptions

Access to premium features requires a paid subscription. You will be charged the monthly subscription fee every 30 days from your initial subscription date. All subscription payments are non-refundable. When you submit a subscription and account deletion request, your account and access to the Service will be immediately terminated. Your active subscription with the payment provider will be deactivated within 24-48 hours. To prevent charges for the next billing cycle, you must submit your cancellation request at least 48 hours prior to your next billing date. You acknowledge that your access is immediately restricted upon submitting the cancellation request.

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service.
